I have listed scriptures and prayers that we have personally prayed. We hope these help your heart as you heal from accusations.

Psalms 109:1-5

“O God of my praise, Do not be silent! For they have opened the wicked and deceitful mouth against me; They have spoken against me with a lying tongue. They have also surrounded me with words of hatred, And fought against me without cause. In return for my love they act as my accusers; But I am in prayer. Thus they have repaid me evil for good And hatred for my love.”

Prayer:

Jesus, I cry out to you for help.

Those I have taken care of and love

have lied about me and falsely accused me without cause. Because I chose to love them, I am being hated, betrayed and treated as an enemy!

In return for my love, I am hated. In return for my kindness, I am treated with derision and cruelty.

Cause them to see their error and convict them of their lies. Prevent the damage they intend for me and stop their betrayal and lies.

Heal me Oh God. Let me heal from their wounds and please support and strengthen me and our family.

Help us and restore peace to us in Jesus name.

Psalms 31:1-4

“In You, O Lord, I have taken refuge; Let me never be ashamed; In Your righteousness deliver me. Incline Your ear to me, rescue me quickly; Be to me a rock of strength, A stronghold to save me. For You are my rock and my fortress; For Your name’s sake You will lead me and guide me. You will pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me, For You are my strength.”

Prayer:

Oh God, I trust in your loving kindness.

Incline your ear to me and hear my cry for help. In your righteousness deliver me from those who secretly plot against me to destroy me.

But in you I take refuge. You are my fortress and my strength. You will lead and guide me for your name’s sake. In your great love and kindness will I trust. Rescue me from the evil plans of those who are trying to lay a trap for me, not because I have done evil, but they are trying to cover up their sin by falsely accusing me. Shine your light on their darkness and protect me in your righteousness and love for me, because I take my refuge in you.

Exodus 20:16 ESV

“You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

Dear Jesus, we choose to forgive those who have bore false witness against us. We lay all the falsehoods at your feet. We tune out the noises of the enemy and those who choose hate. We choose to tune into your heart and listen to only the words you have spoken over us in your Bible. Help us to forgive.

Exodus 23:1 ESV

“You shall not spread a false report. You shall not join hands with a wicked man to be a malicious witness.

Isaiah 54:17 ESV

No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.”

Exodus 14:14 ESV

The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”

Deuteronomy 19:18-19 ESV

The judges shall inquire diligently, and if the witness is a false witness and has accused his brother falsely, then you shall do to him as he had meant to do to his brother. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.

Matthew 5:11 ESV

“Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.

Revelation 12:10 ESV

And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.

Proverbs 11:9 ESV

With his mouth the godless man would destroy his neighbor, but by knowledge the righteous are delivered.

Psalm 41:5-9 ESV

My enemies say of me in malice, “When will he die, and his name perish?” And when one comes to see me, he utters empty words, while his heart gathers iniquity; when he goes out, he tells it abroad. All who hate me whisper together about me; they imagine the worst for me. They say, “A deadly thing is poured out on him; he will not rise again from where he lies.” Even my close friend in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, has lifted his heel against me.

1 Peter 4:14 ESV

If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.

Psalm 35:11

“Malicious witnesses testify against me. They accuse me of crimes I know nothing about.”

Proverbs 19:5

“A false witness will not go unpunished, nor will a liar escape.”

Proverbs 6:16-19

“There are six things the Lord hates— no, seven things he detests: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that kill the innocent, a heart that plots evil, feet that race to do wrong, a false witness who pours out lies, a person who sows discord in a family.”

Psalm 109:1-31 ESV

To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. Be not silent, O God of my praise! For wicked and deceitful mouths are opened against me, speaking against me with lying tongues. They encircle me with words of hate, and attack me without cause. In return for my love they accuse me, but I give myself to prayer. So they reward me evil for good, and hatred for my love.

1 Peter 3:16 ESV

Having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame.
